Collecting Riftbound: sets, tracking and value

Whether you are opening your first booster or sorting a large binder, these guides cover the sets that exist, how to keep track of what you own, how to value it honestly and what the promotional sets are.

  1. Every Riftbound set and release date

The Riftbound catalog contains 10 sets and promo sets: Secret Garden (SGN), Riftbound Promotional Cards (PR), Origins (OGN), Riftbound Organized Play Promotional Cards (OPP), Origins: Proving Grounds (OGS), Riftbound Judge Promotional Cards (JDG), Spiritforged (SFD), Unleashed (UNL), Vendetta (VEN), Radiance (RAD). The newest is Radiance, released 23 October 2026. Together they hold 1,702 printings.

  2. How to track a Riftbound collection: binder, spreadsheet or app?

To track a Riftbound collection, record for every card its set code, collector number, finish (normal or foil) and quantity. A free browser binder does this by scanning or searching, adds current prices, shows set completion and exports to CSV. A spreadsheet works too but needs manual prices and an easy way to look up numbers.

  3. How to value a Riftbound collection honestly

Value a Riftbound collection by pricing every card at its TCGplayer market price, for its own printing and its own finish, then adding the lines up. As of 26 October 2026, the top tenth of printings account for about 94% of the catalog’s total value, so correctly identifying your few valuable cards matters far more than the bulk.

  4. Riftbound promo sets guide: Promotional, Judge and Organized Play cards

The catalog has 3 promo sets: Riftbound Promotional Cards (PR, 16 printings); Riftbound Organized Play Promotional Cards (OPP, 213 printings); Riftbound Judge Promotional Cards (JDG, 4 printings). Promo cards are distributed through events and programs rather than sold in boosters, and the Organized Play set is where the Metal cards live.
